Admissions Criteria – 2021 - 2022

Academic Pathways

The minimum academic entry requirement for the Sixth Form for September 2021 is five grade 9-4 GCSEs (including English and Maths). Additionally, you must meet the minimum entry requirements for your chosen courses, in the current year of enrolment.

Level 2 Pathways

Students will be required to choose 2 subjects from either the Bridging Pathway or the Booster pathway. 
Students with a Grade 3 or 4 in English and Maths will be required to retake the subjects to achieve a Grade 5.
Students with a Grade 2 or below in English and Maths will be enrolled on a functional skills course. 
The Level 2 Pathways are on a three day a week timetable. In addition, students are expected to dedicate one day a week working in the local community.


All places offered are subject to the following post-acceptance conditions:
The applicant must provide documentary proof of having in fact met the minimum and course specific entrance requirements.
The applicant must produce photographic ID as well as proof of their address in the form of a copy of their parent/carer’s current council tax bill.
Any applicant who is unable to satisfy these conditions will not be admitted to the school.
