All students are encouraged to develop their leadership skills and participate in whole school activities. We have a President and Prefect team, this gives students responsibilities around school and the community. Student voice is also advocated through this team to help develop the Sixth Form. We have also launched the SJBC Graduation Programme this year which focuses on the Academic Success, Applied Skills, Citizenship and Work Related Learning.
The enrichment programme has been established now for 2 years with our fantastic partners at Caius House. Every week students participate in a variety on non-curriculum based activities including Fencing, Sound Engineering, Music Production, Upcycling, Boxing and Fitness to name a few. We pride ourselves on giving students the opportunity to explore a range of experiences whilst at SJBC. This is to encourage positive personal growth and to develop their base for a better written application – be it a personal statement or CV.
