We are a Roman Catholic, Salesian school, a Christian community based on gospel values, with an approach shaped by the life and example of St John Bosco. We welcome applications from all members of the community and we lay particular emphasis on respecting diversity and celebrating the dignity of each and every person.
With the social distancing restrictions currently in place our summer programme of tours and visits to the school has sadly been put on hold. However parents of children in Year 6 looking for a place in our Year 7 intake for September 2021 are encouraged to keep checking the website for updates on when this programme will resume. In the meantime please do have a look at our virtual tour and keep up to date with all that is happening at SJBC via our regular newsletters.
We hope that our open events will still be able to go ahead as planned on:
- Saturday 12 September - Open Morning 9.00-11.00am
- Thursday 24 September - Open Evening 5.30-7.30pm
If we are unable to hold these 'live' in September then we will host online events at those dates/times. Details will be confirmed on our website in September should this be the case.
We are also hopeful that in September prospective parents and their children will be able to arrange private tours of the school at times to suit you. You will be able to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to book yours.
Applications for admission into Year 7 are coordinated by the local authority in which you live. All parents will need to complete the Common Application Form and submit this, usually online, by 31 October. Wandsworth residents can find information on the admissions process here. For residents of other boroughs please contact your local authority for further details.
We encourage applicants who come from a faith background to complete our supplementary information form (SIF) which you can download from this website.
Applications are now closed for the Year 7 intake in September 2020 and places have been allocated. Congratulations if you were successful and have been offered a place at St John Bosco College. We are delighted that your family will be joining our school community and we will be contacting you shortly to arrange a welcome meeting for you and your child. Feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions in advance of this meeting.
If you were not successful in applying for a place at St John Bosco College but would still like your son or daughter to attend here in September please do get in touch and we can advise you on your options, including that of joining our waiting list. Contact the school by email at email@example.com on 020 7924 8310 to find out more.
If you have recently arrived in the area and did not take part in the PAN London application process last Autumn please get in touch and we would also be happy to advise you.
In-year applications can be made at any time throughout the year if there are still places available in your child's year group. Prospective parents are invited to contact the school in the first instance to find out if there are places available or to join the waiting list You can book a tour by calling 0207 924 8310 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to come and see us first.
