PTFA

Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA)

Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) plays an important part in the life of St John Bosco College.

All parents are automatically a member of the PTFA as you have a son/daughter who attends our school.

The PTFA gives parents/carers the opportunity to:

  • be an active part of the school community supporting your son/daughter to flourish academically and leave school at 18 with the widest range of choices possible
  • network and mix socially with other parents in the school community.
  • participate in parental/student workshops
  • participate in student/parent sporting events
  • listen to teachers, friends and external speakers delivering information on a range of topics such as careers, educational support, mental health and well-being to name but a few.
  • raise funds to support our children’s learning and charities
  • build the community ethos of the school

We welcome and encourage parents from all year groups to get involved to ensure that we cater for all students when activities are organised.

The PTFA can only thrive and be successful if parents are actively supporting it.  If you can help, please sign up here and we will get in contact with the organising team for that particular event, alternatively if you have any ideas you would like to put forward, please do let us know by emailing pta@sjbc.wandsworth.sch.uk
